Our Gigz Inc. (“Gigz”) is a professional networking platform designed for creative professionals. Our registered users “Talent” and “Influencers” share their professional profiles, engage within their creative social circles they create, post and view relevant content, and find permanent, freelance or contract opportunities. Our Privacy Policy applies to any Talent or Influencer to the covered Platform.


Registration & Profile Creation

To create an account you provide data including your name, email address and/or phone number, and a password. On creation of your private profile (Influencer or Talent Profile) you have choices about the information on your profile you would like to add, such as your education, professional work experience, photo, city or area, and portfolio. It’s your choice whether to include sensitive information on your profile. Please note to not post or share any information you do not wish to be publicly available on your social profile.

For Influencers, you are also the legal representative of the business you are posting the job for. Therefore, your profile information collected will also include information regarding your employer such as name and location of the employer.

Gigz reserves the right to remove user profiles (Influencers & Talent) if required by legal authorities, other legal processes (subpoena, court orders or other legal actions) or if we have a good faith belief that removal is reasonably necessary (see Section 9 of this privacy policy).

When you browse our platform, we also automatically receive your computer's internet protocol (IP) address to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing

With your permission, we may send you emails about our platform, new products and other updates.


If you use our Platform, you consent to the collection, use and sharing of your personal data under this Privacy Policy.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. 

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service (see Section 8).


In general, the third-party providers (such as payment processing solution, Stripe) used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the service they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the Platform of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our platform’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website's Terms of Service. 


We use data and content about Influencers and Talent for invitations and communications promoting network growth, engagement and our Platform.



There are 2 unique profiles created on Gigz: Influencer and Talent. Influencer profiles enable users to post permanent, freelance or contract job postings in addition to a user profile.

Both Influencer and Talent profiles allow users to publish personal information about themselves. Gigz will collect information such as phone numbers, pictures, professional work experiences, portfolio, education and endorsements.


Gigz will only make contact information visible when Talent apply for positions. Influencer contact information will be kept confidential. User profiles are only visible if they are connected to oneanother on the platform. Otherwise, viewers will only see the profile picture and name of the Influencer or Talent.


Endorsements are made by users of the profile. They can be edited or deleted at any time by the author of the endorsement.

Job Postings

Influencers can post Permanent, Freelance or Contract positions while Talent can post only Freelance positions. Payment processing is conducted by Stripe and are set by the platform itself. Once payment has been received there are no refunds as the job has been posted on the website.

Gigz, at any point has the authority to remove job postings without offering a refund (See Section 8).


We use cookies and similar technologies, to help us recognize you across our platform, improve your experience, provide updates, enhance security, and advertise our platform and any new feature we may have.

By visiting Gigz, you consent to the placement of cookies in your browser in accordance with this Privacy Policy.


It is possible that we will need to disclose information about you, remove your profile or jobs you have posted when required by law and its legal processes including subpoenas or if we believe that the disclosure is reasonably necessary to
(1) investigate, prevent, or take action against suspected or actual illegal activities;
(2) enforce our agreements with you;
(3) investigate and protect ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations;
(4) exercise or protect the rights and safety of Gigz, our users, personnel, or others in good faith.

We will only notify these users using our own personal judgment, unless prohibited by law or court order. In the event that a job posting is required to be removed no refund will be issued.


We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our platform is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue our platform’s services.

Please note we will be communicating any material changes to our privacy policy through email.

if you choose to close your Gigz account, your personal profile may be visible up to 24 hours to other users. Personal information may be retained even if your account is closed to comply with any legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud or abuse.
